Prayer
is the lever which brings about change in any life. It is in prayer
that we find our needs met, our desires fulfilled, our hearts healed
and our questions answered. At St. Luke's, prayer is foundational,
and the prayer ministry is called to serve Christians when they
are in need of special prayer for protection, intercession, deliverance
or wisdom and peace.
The Prayer Shield is an intentional
system put in place to cover the intercessory needs of our body.
We pray each day for our staff
and small groups. Prayer concerns for the nation and the church at large
as well as our government are also offered.
Friday Worship & Intercession
is a gathering
of intercessors who pray on behalf of our church and the world using prophetic
intercession combined with the worship arts.
The Presence Room is a special space set
aside for intercession and the honoring of the Lord. Open to
everyone, the room is filled with various art forms and encourages the
use of color and touch and combines many arts to help set the stage
for inviting the Lord's presence.
