Ministries and projects St. Luke’s supports in Matamoros · Provides oversight, prayer covering and disseminates information for the ministry · Supports and assists in the construction of a complex to house Castella del Rey Church, a church school, a community center, and housing for missionaries and seminarians. · Assists in community outreach and community ministry · St. Luke’s provides one-week teaching opportunities to American missionaries in training for future assignments in Latin America.

Praise reports from Matamoros · Part of the community complex opened in September 2005 · We have witnessed God’s healing hand on the sick, the addicted and the downtrodden. · Sixty-five believers have started a second church near a dump near Matamoros under the authority of Castella del Rey and Pastor Robert Waag. · Several of the recent graduate missionaries and seminarians have already started or are soon to start their own ministries in Latin America. · Many wooden houses for Mexican families have been built this year by American missionary teams visiting Matamoros. · God continues to provide for the Matamoros ministry.
