Ministry of Healing

We believe an important part of the Gospel's message is to heal the sick in Jesus’ name. St. Luke’s has been anointed with a gift for healing.  This manifests in the emotional and physical healing of people through prayer.  We pray for those who desire personal prayer during the  service on Sunday, and we also have teams who will minister healing prayer at other times.

Our Soaking Prayer Ministry has evolved as a place for us to offer ongoing prayer for people who are dealing with long-term or chronic illness or conditions.

The Prayer Ministry follows the basic methodologies of Theophostic healing and is valuable to those who want God to bring healing to a specific situation or condition.

A Power Encounter is a special appointment set for persons experiencing acute problems which may require immediate intervention. The encounter may be directed to areas of specific emotional, physical, or spiritual need.
