Dear Friends,
Greetings to you all. It's hard to believe, but the All Church Study
with Bill Johnson's When Heaven Invades Earth is beginning
this coming Sunday. During the weeks of the study here on these
pages you will find the latest updates that will help you
participate – chapter summaries and the discussion questions which
will be used in the small group meetings each week.
The chapter summaries are a tool to be used each
week in order to help the group review the chapter material. They
ended up being a little longer than anticipated but if you have
begun the book, you know how packed each chapter is. They are also
helpful to be sure those who have not been able to read the material
for the week are up to speed. In this way everyone can come and
participate even if they have not read the material. The small group
leaders will be summarizing the material each week before the
discussion time so those who may not have had time to read the book
that week can still come and participate.
The chapter questions have been chosen to address
the most relevant material in the chapter while also keeping in mind
that some will not have read the book. So, most can be answered/
discussed by both those who have and those who have not done the
week's reading. Although there are more questions here than a group
can cover in the allotted time, please consider these questions as
you read the material and see how the Lord may use them to deepen
your understanding and challenge you in some areas.
If you have not yet joined a small group, it's not too
late! See the bulletin insert on Sunday for times and places
available and fill out the tear off or call the office
(330.665.2227). If for some reason you have extenuating
circumstances and cannot attend one of these small group meetings,
please consider buying the When Heaven Invades Earth Daily
Devotional and Journal available in the bookstore. In this way
you can participate even though you cannot be in a small group.
Also, don't forget that the Sunday sermons are also available as a
download at this site and will be introducing the themes for the
week. We want to do all we can to be able to follow where the Lord
is leading and step out to appropriate and participate in all He is
doing among us.
Please continue to pray for us as a congregation to follow
the Lord where he is leading us in this season. He wants to share
with us the treasures of the Kingdom and enrich us with the jewels
of his presence and the beautification of his glorious Bride. He is
inviting each of us personally to participate with him in the
greatest revival the world has seen.
